The aim was to refurbish Comtec’s existing showroom.
Strip out all existing plasterboard walls and brick walls of kitchen, counter and display units; strip out existing electrics and lights.
Uplift existing floor coverings and replace them with Forbo ‘Outline’ carpet tiles to the office area and install new Altro ‘Walkway’ non-slip sheet vinyl to the showroom.
Fit new metal stud and plasterboard walls and lining, new single-glazed screens and a glass door.
Add a new plasterboard wall to create a larger kitchen. Supply and install Corian (Solid Laminate) top and laminate frontage with warm white LED hidden lights.
All non-visual areas were to be MDF carcass with Egger White laminate. Remove and install new lighting and power sockets. New plasterboard walls were to be ames taped and decorated with emulsion paint and apply gloss paint to skirtings.
Supply and install new slatwall panels. The existing ceiling was to be removed and new 600mm x 600mm ceiling tiles installed by Clansman Interiors.
Key features were the full refurbishment of the trade counter and customer area. A new, bespoke solid surface trade counter with integrated lighting and signage was installed.
