Supply and installation of glazed screens on 1st floor office area overlooking new bottling facility for Chivas Regal.
This new facility began construction in May 2018 and is a £50million state-of-the-art bottling plant which aims to further cement Chivas Regal’s position as a world class supplier of Scotch whisky.
Key features of the project
The glazed screens needed to be double glazed to achieve a high acoustic rating (45db) to allow viewing into the bottling hall without noise disturbance in the offices. This was achieved with various glass specifications: 12.8mm acoustic laminate, 15mm clear toughened glass.
