As part of Scottish Apprentice Week and National Careers Week Clansman Interiors presented talks about the construction industry to Primary 6 and Primary 3 classes at Troon Primary School.

The talks focused a number of areas; how the construction industry has evolved over the years into a much safer working environment, all the various roles and opportunities in the construction industry from architect and engineer to joiner and builder, and what specifically Clansman Interiors does and where in their school they might see some of the materials we use.
One of the teachers also asked about the fact that the construction industry is male dominated and what can be done about that and we explained all the different incentives such as the FIS Women in Fit-Out project.
The children really enjoyed trying on the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and seeing all the product samples they could handle.
