COVID-secure visitor rooms for care homes
Care homes around the country are doing everything they can to protect their residents and staff whilst trying to enable safe visiting for families.
Clansman Interiors are building COVID-safe visitor rooms within care homes which separate visitors and residents by clear toughened glass. This allows loved ones to see their families that they haven’t been able to visit throughout lockdown.

Bringing families together
These rooms are ideal to help keep residents’ spirits high and maintain good mental well being. The pandemic has been especially hard for care homes but with the introduction of COVID-safe visiting rooms, pressure can be eased slightly.

Care home garden rooms
If there is no room within the care home to build a screen in, why not opt for a garden room?
These rooms can be of bespoke size and are accessed by visitors on one side and residents on the other by UPVC doors.
Within the room, there are full height and width glass vision panels that can be easily cleaned. Walls are clad with a wipeable laminate finish as is the floor – making it easier for disinfecting between visits.
Internally, LED lighting can be installed as well as heaters on either side, powered from its own distribution board linked to an outside commando socket.
Care home garden rooms can be built on-site or off-site and hauled into position by a crane depending on the location of the home.
